  • 1. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The sealing surfaces form wedge-shaped and wedge-shaped angles which vary with valve parameters, usually 5 degrees.

    2. The sealing principle of wedge gate valve is the close combination of the two sealing surfaces on the wedge gate plate and the two sealing surfaces on the valve body when wedging, so as to achieve the sealing performance.

    3. Wedge gate valves can be divided into open-rod gate valves (lift-rod gate valves) and CONCEALED-ROD gate valves (rotary-rod gate valves) according to the different opening and closing modes of the valve rod-driven gate.
