Diaphragm valve is a special type of valve with block function. Its opening and closing parts are composed of steel valve disc and diaphragm made of soft material (rubber and fluoroplastic composite), and separate the inner cavity of valve body from the inner cavity of valve cover. When the hand wheel is operated clockwise, the valve rod will move down, and the valve disc will drive the diaphragm down to block the passage. Otherwise, the valve will open.

1. The composite diaphragm separates the inner cavity of the lower part of the valve body from the inner cavity of the valve cover, and forms a direct channel with it, so that the valve stem, valve disc and other internal parts on the upper part of the diaphragm are completely isolated from the medium, and at the same time, the purity of the medium is ensured, and the internal and external leakage of the medium can be avoided at the same time;

2. The diaphragm made of FEP (Teflon) fluoroplastic and synthetic rubber and the valve with (Teflon) fluoroplastic lining layer can be used for various highly corrosive media except "molten alkali metal and elemental fluorine".

3. The diaphragm as the actuator is prone to fatigue fracture due to frequent opening and closing. It should be replaced regularly according to the test conditions, media and characteristics.
