What is the selection principle of the plug valve?

According to the structure characteristics and design function of the plug valve, it can be selected according to the following principles.

(1) For medium distribution and change of medium flow direction. Its operating temperature is not higher than 300℃, nominal pressure is PN≤ 1.6Mpa, nominal diameter not greater than 300mm. Multi-channel plug valves are recommended.

(2) Austenitic stainless steel tight-fitting tapered plug valve is recommended for milk, juice, beer and other equipment and pipes in food enterprises.

(3) In the branch pipes of oil field development, natural gas development, pipeline transportation and oil refining cleaning equipment, the nominal pressure class is not more than 300, and the nominal diameter is not more than 300mm. It is recommended to use oil-seal tapered plug valves.

(4) Branch pipe of oil field production, natural gas exploitation, pipeline transportation, oil refining cleaning equipment, nominal pressure class is not more than 7500, nominal diameter is not more than 900mm, operating temperature is not more than 340 ℃. It is recommended to use oil-seal tapered plug valves.
